Prep! To capture the best possible image of your item, it's important to wash and iron it beforehand.
Good lighting is essential. Listings that are well-lit perform better. To showcase your item's color and details, we suggest utilizing natural light near a window.
Clear and accurate product photos are necessary. To achieve this, we require at least one photo showing the item fully visible in the frame.
Make sure to include a close-up of your item. Show the color, texture, and fabric in more detail.
We recommend capturing flat lays of your item; consider including a photo wearing the item so potential buyers can get a better idea of how it fits.
Use a plain background like a white sheet or a solid white wall to keep your buyer's attention on the item and not the background.
It's important to include photos in your listing that capture any flaws or damages on the item. This will help potential buyers have a clear idea of the item's condition they are considering purchasing.
We require at least one photo in your listing to feature the actual item in your possession and not a stock photo from a retailer.
Select a cover photo – this is the photo that will catch a shopper’s attention.
You can include up to 12 photos in your listing; the more the better!
Please avoid using photo collages to ensure clear visibility of items in the feed. We do not recommend using text overlays or graphics in the image.
Pro Tip: Photograph the item's brand tags and include images with a measuring tape to ensure accuracy, considering the potential shrinkage or stretching the item may have undergone.
LIST
Title
Think of what you would type in to find the item you are listing.
The listing title is the most important. We recommend including the brand, type of article (chaps, skirt, etc.), material, and important keywords here to help buyers find your item.
The listing title has a limit of 60 characters.
Our policy only allows one item per listing for an individual seller. We do not allow multiple items or multiple sizes on the same item in one listing.
Pro tip: Be very descriptive as this will help shoppers find your item when searching and increase your chances of a sale.
Description
In the description, add additional details about your item that aren’t in the listing title. This will help potential buyers feel more informed and confident about the item they are considering purchasing.
Be honest, honest, honest. Mention any and all flaws.
Set the Category, Sub-Category, Size, Brand, Color, Condition, and Hashtags.
If your item’s brand is not offered in our pull-down list, click Other. Make sure to include your item’s brand in the Listing, Title, Description, and Tags.
You can select from the following conditions: New With Tags (NWT), New Without Tags (NWOT), Used-Excellent, Used-Good, and Used-Fair. Remember to be honest about the condition of your item and include any damage and wear to your item in your description and photos.
The more information you provide, the more confident a buyer will feel about making a purchase.
Pro Tip: To go the extra mile, include measurements in the photos and description!
Pricing Items
Add a price, the item’s weight, and a ship from address. All these details together will determine the shipping cost.
Compare your item to similar sold listing prices on Redspur.
Look up your item’s original price and set your selling cost considering wear, quality, and any damage.
Pro Tip: Consider the buyer’s shipping costs.
